Synthetic Heat Transfer Fluid | Therminol 55 | Thermic Fluid

Therminol 55 is a synthetic heat transfer fluid used in moderate-temperature applications. Therminol 55 fluid is designed for use in non-pressurized/low-pressure, indirect heating systems. It delivers efficient, dependable, uniform process heat with no need for high pressures.

Performance Benefits

  • Long Life—You will get years of reliable, cost-effective performance, even when operating your system continuously at 300°C (570°F). This means you do not have to over specify your fluid.
  • Excellent resistance to fouling— Because Therminol 55 is a synthetic fluid, it resists the effects of oxidation 10 times better than mineral oils, meaning less oxidation and solids formation. For systems without nitrogen inerting, the performance advantages are significant.
  • Excellent Low-Temperature Pumpability—Therminol 55 is still pumpable at –28°C (–18°F ), compared to some mineral oils that will not pump at temperatures below –7°C (20°F ). With Therminol 55, your heat transfer fluid system can start up quickly and easily.

Industrial Combustion Burner: Basics of "Industrial Burner"

Industrial Engineering involves creating products that maximize function, value, and appearance for professional manufacturers and consumers. Gas burner, Oil burner, or Coal burner is relate to a mechanical device that burns a gas or liquid fuel in a controlled manner. An oil burner (engine) is a steam engine that uses oil as its fuel. Gas burner , a piece of metal fitted to the end of a gas pipe, with one or more small holes so arranged as to spread out the flame. An oil burner is a part that join to an oil furnace, water heater, or boiler. A Low NOx burner is a type of burner that is typically used in utility boilers to produce steam and electricity. The burner is simply a hollow metal disk with holes punctured through its perimeter. And a gas pilot light or electric pilot sits to one side of the burner and sends a small flame or spark to ignite the oxygen-gas mixture as it flows through the holes in the burner. Industrial Gas burner is a device to generate a flame to heat up produ

HIGH PRESSURE GAS TRAIN Components | Industrial Products

A Typical Fuel Train or High Pressure Gas Train has several components, each with a specific purpose which is briefly explained below: Manual shut-off valve (MSOV) – the purpose of this valve is to shut off the fuel  supply so that maintenance or replacement of the fuel train may be done. Gas pressure regulator (PRV) – its purpose is to maintain the fuel at a constant  pressure as recommended by the burner manufacturer. Gas Filter – the function is to prevent foreign particle and extraneous impurities  entering Gas Pressure Regulator. Low pressure gas switch – senses a low pressure in the range where the burner  cannot properly operate. This switch must be equipped with safety lock-out requiring manual reset. This tells the operator to check the gas pressure, since the burner will not try to restart until the switch is reset. Safety shut-off valve (SSOV) – the first of two valves in series that automatically  opens and shuts off the fuel supply to the burner. On burners above 1200

USE OF THERMIC FLUID HEATERS, ENSURING RELIABILITY AND LONGER LIFE FOR THERMIC FLUID

Thermic Fluid Heater is most popular in almost every industries and it is being used for various heating applications due to unique advantage over other heating systems like steam heating, electrical heating, direct firing, air heating etc., because of the following exceptional advantages:- Very low working pressure and safe from explosion hazards. Heat transfer medium or working fluid remains in liquid phase throughout and higher overall heat transfer. Greater efficiency of heat utilization , superior fuel-saving possibility, and better return on investment for the industry. No botheration continuous water treatment for feed water in case of steam boiler. No problem of scale deposition on heating surface. New generation thermic fluids with excellent properties are available in the market Better heat transfer coefficient, higher thermal stability, and long-life cycle Exemption from Indian Boiler Regulations Act and related formalities Thus, many unique advantages when selecting the the
