Synthetic Heat Transfer Fluid | Therminol 55 | Thermic Fluid

Therminol 55 is a synthetic heat transfer fluid used in moderate-temperature applications. Therminol 55 fluid is designed for use in non-pressurized/low-pressure, indirect heating systems. It delivers efficient, dependable, uniform process heat with no need for high pressures.

Performance Benefits

  • Long Life—You will get years of reliable, cost-effective performance, even when operating your system continuously at 300°C (570°F). This means you do not have to over specify your fluid.
  • Excellent resistance to fouling— Because Therminol 55 is a synthetic fluid, it resists the effects of oxidation 10 times better than mineral oils, meaning less oxidation and solids formation. For systems without nitrogen inerting, the performance advantages are significant.
  • Excellent Low-Temperature Pumpability—Therminol 55 is still pumpable at –28°C (–18°F ), compared to some mineral oils that will not pump at temperatures below –7°C (20°F ). With Therminol 55, your heat transfer fluid system can start up quickly and easily.

HIGH PRESSURE GAS TRAIN Components | Industrial Products

A Typical Fuel Train or High Pressure Gas Train has several components, each with a specific purpose which is briefly explained below: Manual shut-off valve (MSOV) – the purpose of this valve is to shut off the fuel  supply so that maintenance or replacement of the fuel train may be done. Gas pressure regulator (PRV) – its purpose is to maintain the fuel at a constant  pressure as recommended by the burner manufacturer. Gas Filter – the function is to prevent foreign particle and extraneous impurities  entering Gas Pressure Regulator. Low pressure gas switch – senses a low pressure in the range where the burner  cannot properly operate. This switch must be equipped with safety lock-out requiring manual reset. This tells the operator to check the gas pressure, since the burner will not try to restart until the switch is reset. Safety shut-off valve (SSOV) – the first of two valves in series that automatically  opens and shuts off the fuel supply to the burner. On burners above 1200

Bulk Temperature And Film Temperature In Thermic Fluid Heating

Thermic fluid heaters and its working temperature is always a perplexing term and it is also mostly misunderstood expressions. Generally, all thermic fluid manufacturers recommend certain economic operating temperature or optimum fluid bulk temperature based on its useful life of the product. Hence, the manufacturer of Thermic Fluid Heaters recommends a continuous operating temperature of 300 °  degrees Centigrade for such a heater in their expectations or estimation of temperature profiles. But it is important to understand various aspects of temperature when thermic fluid flows through tubes of heater. When fluid flowing in the coils or tubes of the heater, a very thin layer of the fluid all along the metal periphery vehemently adheres to the solid metal very strongly. This layer never moves and form a film or layer which is a stationary oil film. This film creates very high resistance to heat flow from outer heated metal surface to circulating thermic fluid. This resistance depends

INDUSTRIAL BURNER-BGN 510 ME V O2 50HZ

Baltur Industrial Burners Weight :-  287 kg Kilowatt :- 5001-10000 Kw Industrial Burner-Technical Descriptions:  Gas burner compliant with European standard EN676. Electronic operation at two progressive stages. Continuous modulation operation by installing P.I.D. controller in the control panel (to be ordered separately with modulation probe). Modulation ratio 1:8. Gas burner with low NOx and CO emissions in accordance with European standard EN676: class 2. Regulating combustion air and blast-pipe. Combustion air intake with throttle damper. Air flow adjustment with electric servomotor. Fully closing air damper on shutdown to avoid loss of heat through the chimney. Maintenance facilitated by the possibility of removing the combustion head without having to remove the burner from the boiler. Sliding boiler coupling flange to adapt the blast-pipe to the various types of boilers. Easy maintenance thanks to the two-sides hinge which allows the removal of the combustion head without having
