Industrial Pumps

pump is a device that moves fluids (liquids or gases), or sometimes slurries, by mechanical action, typically converted from electrical energy into Hydraulic energy. Pumps can be classified into three major groups according to the method they use to move the fluid: direct lift, displacement, and gravity pumps.

Industrial pumps are used to move fluid in an industrial application. These pumps use a rotating impeller to accelerate a fluid and increase its pressure. There are dozens of industrial centrifugal pumps including slurry pumps, chopper pumps, sewage pumps, vertical turbine pumps, axial flow pumps and more.

Water pumps are machines for moving water, they play a fundamental part in agriculture as they move water from its source to the fields and crops. Water pumps can be used with many forms of irrigation, such as drip, sprinklers or with a hose.

  • Types of Pumps

  1. Centrifugal Pumps

SIDE STREAM FILTRATION SYSTEM FOR SYNTHETIC THERMIC FLUID

SIDE STREAM FILTRATION SYSTEM FOR SYNTHETIC THERMIC FLUID Hot Thermic Fluid Filter in side stream operation:   HEATRAN ENGINEERS  provides filtration systems that are extremely efficient for cleaning and maintaining the efficiency of heat transfer fluids or thermal hot oils. HEATRAN systems are for in-line side stream / in-system filtration. Our in house design of filter housings and SS Filter elements (Grade 304 stainless steel possesses “good oxidation resistance in intermittent service to 870 °C and in continuous service to 925 °C”) suitable for the system fluid is proprietary and offers great flexibility and durability with re-usable filter elements to minimize the recurring expense on other type of elements and to enhance optimum cleaning of the Thermic fluid at elevated temperatures, since they can withstand system temperatures of up to 399°C. These elements have excellent dirt-holding capacity, are economical and reusable. HEATRAN housing design allow t...

Bulk Temperature And Film Temperature In Thermic Fluid Heating

Thermic fluid heaters and its working temperature is always a perplexing term and it is also mostly misunderstood expressions. Generally, all thermic fluid manufacturers recommend certain economic operating temperature or optimum fluid bulk temperature based on its useful life of the product. Hence, the manufacturer of Thermic Fluid Heaters recommends a continuous operating temperature of 300 °  degrees Centigrade for such a heater in their expectations or estimation of temperature profiles. But it is important to understand various aspects of temperature when thermic fluid flows through tubes of heater. When fluid flowing in the coils or tubes of the heater, a very thin layer of the fluid all along the metal periphery vehemently adheres to the solid metal very strongly. This layer never moves and form a film or layer which is a stationary oil film. This film creates very high resistance to heat flow from outer heated metal surface to circulating thermic fluid. This resistance depe...

Industrial Combustion Burner: Basics of "Industrial Burner"

Industrial Engineering involves creating products that maximize function, value, and appearance for professional manufacturers and consumers. Gas burner, Oil burner, or Coal burner is relate to a mechanical device that burns a gas or liquid fuel in a controlled manner. An oil burner (engine) is a steam engine that uses oil as its fuel. Gas burner , a piece of metal fitted to the end of a gas pipe, with one or more small holes so arranged as to spread out the flame. An oil burner is a part that join to an oil furnace, water heater, or boiler. A Low NOx burner is a type of burner that is typically used in utility boilers to produce steam and electricity. The burner is simply a hollow metal disk with holes punctured through its perimeter. And a gas pilot light or electric pilot sits to one side of the burner and sends a small flame or spark to ignite the oxygen-gas mixture as it flows through the holes in the burner. Industrial Gas burner is a device to generate a flame to heat up produ...
